Description

Winnie the Pooh's Home Run Derby looks like a children's game and is not one. Pooh bats, his friends from the 100 Acre Wood pitch, and the timing required to connect is famously unforgiving.

Each pitcher throws differently. Speed, curve and delivery all change from one character to the next, so the swing that worked against Piglet is early or late against Christopher Robin. Learning them individually is the only approach that works.

There is nothing to do but swing, which is why the difficulty lands so hard — every failure is entirely yours, and the game is quite happy to let you miss twenty in a row. It earned its reputation as one of the harder Flash games honestly.

Getting through the whole roster is the goal, and connecting cleanly after several minutes of missing is worth more than the gentle presentation suggests.
