The quiz is split into modes that each test a different piece of geography: flags, capital cities, positions on the world map, famous landmarks and foreign currencies. Every question arrives either as text or as a picture with a set of options, and answering is a single click.

Splitting the subject up this way is what makes it useful rather than just a trivia round. Someone who knows every flag in Europe may not be able to place those same countries on a map, and the mode structure shows that gap instead of averaging it away with easier questions.

Currencies are usually the hardest of the five, because a currency has no shape to recognise and no position to remember. Landmarks tend to be the easiest, since the pictures do most of the work. Going through the modes in order of difficulty is a reasonable way to build the habit.

A quiz like this rewards repetition more than cleverness. The same countries and continents keep coming back across the modes, so a capital you guessed at in one round is a capital you recognise in the next. Nothing needs more than a mouse or a finger, which makes it easy to finish a mode while waiting for something else.
