Description

These are short kart races on raised platform tracks, and the rule that shapes every one of them is the finishing position. Beating at least half the field is the pass mark; anything below that and the race is a loss no matter how clean it was.

That changes what a race is for. There is no reward for a careful lap in eighth place, so the sensible line is often the riskier one, and a kart bumped off a platform costs you the whole attempt rather than a few seconds.

The tracks being raised rather than walled is what makes the edges matter. A rival taking the inside line is not only faster through the corner, they are also putting you where there is nothing to catch you.

Everything is cartoon 3D and a race takes a minute or two. It is built to be replayed immediately, which suits a scoring rule that turns a mediocre finish into no finish at all.
