Description

School Bus Driving Sim gives you a route, a schedule and a bus considerably longer than anything you normally drive in a game. Children are picked up, carried across the city and dropped at their doors, and the game measures whether you did it on time and without incident.

The length of the bus is the first thing you notice. Turns that a car takes without thought need the whole width of the road, and a stop you overshoot cannot simply be reversed out of on a busy street. Approaching slowly costs seconds and saves far more.

City highways make up most of the route, so a lot of the driving is steady rather than dramatic. That is the point — the challenge is consistency over a long run rather than one difficult manoeuvre, and a single careless stretch undoes a careful trip.

Being on time pulls against being careful, and the game does not pretend otherwise. Making up time on the open stretches so you can afford to be slow around the stops is the approach that actually works.
