Description

Unstack Tower asks you to dismantle rather than build. A tower of coloured cubes stands in front of you, and every block you remove changes what is holding up the ones above it. Take out the wrong one and the whole thing comes down.

Colour matching is the scoring layer on top of that. Three or more blocks of the same colour clear together, so the tidy solution and the high-scoring solution are frequently not the same move. Choosing between them is most of the decision-making.

Materials complicate it further. Glass behaves differently from wood, and a level built mostly of one material teaches a habit that the next level, built of the other, immediately punishes. Reading what a block is made of before touching it becomes automatic surprisingly quickly.

The physics are honest rather than forgiving, which means a collapse is always explainable and usually your fault. That is the correct arrangement for a game like this, and it is what makes a clean dismantle feel like something.
