Description

Blocky Archer Run sends a stickman archer forward and never lets him slow down. Your side of the deal is the bow. Enemies appear along the route, and each one has to be dealt with before it reaches you, using a shot you take on the move.

Aiming while running is the whole skill. The distance to a target closes on its own, so an arrow loosed early sails over and an arrow loosed late arrives after the enemy has. Getting it right feels less like precision and more like timing, which is why it reads as a rhythm game once it clicks.

The environments change as you go, and the changes are not decoration. A gap in the ground, a raised platform or a cluster of enemies close together each change the angle you need, and the run rewards recognising the shape of a section rather than reacting to each figure in turn.

Runs end quickly and start again just as fast. The controls take a second to learn, the difficulty comes entirely from speed, and the distance you cover keeps creeping up as you stop aiming at where enemies are and start aiming at where they will be.
