Donne's Spinning World
Description
Donne collects flowers and the levels are ordinary two-dimensional platforms until you use a magical leaf. Rotating the world turns the whole screen a quarter turn, and gravity follows it, so a wall that was blocking you becomes ground you can walk on.
Every puzzle is built on that one idea. A flower sitting on a ledge you cannot jump to is usually not a jumping problem at all — it is a rotation problem, and the answer is finding the orientation that puts the ledge below your feet.
Boxes complicate it in a good way. They fall when the world turns, which means rotating is not free: a crate you needed as a step can end up somewhere useless, and putting it back may cost another two turns.
Spikes, doors and small monsters fill in the rest, and none of them ask for quick reflexes. The game is closer to a puzzle than to a platformer that tests your hands, and levels are short enough to retry immediately.
