Football Duel strips soccer down to the part that decides tournaments: one ball, one spot, and two people taking turns deciding each other's fate. You do not pick a role — you shoot, then you keep, then you shoot again.

Both jobs run on the same swipe. Shooting, the direction of the swipe places the ball and its speed decides how hard it is struck; the top corners are furthest from the keeper and the easiest to put wide. Keeping, you have a fraction of a second to read the strike and throw yourself one way, which means the save comes from watching the striker rather than the ball.

First to five goals wins, and that number is short enough that a two-goal deficit is never safe for anyone. One save flips the whole thing: their kick stops, yours goes in, and the gap has closed in a single exchange.

Because you alternate roles, your own habits become readable. Two shots into the same corner and the next one gets saved; two dives the same way and the next penalty goes past you. Changing pattern at the right moment matters more than swiping hard.
