Knight in Hell
Description
Knight in Hell is about volume. The undead do not come in ones, they come in hundreds, and no individual monster is a threat — the threat is how much of the screen they occupy by the time you notice.
The obelisks are the whole progression. Each one you reach offers a power or a weapon, and what you take shapes the rest of the run: something that clears a line behind you solves a different problem from something that hits everything at once, and you cannot have both.
Because the choices stack, two runs through the same dungeon go very differently. That is the roguelike part, and it is what makes losing acceptable — a bad run ends with a build you now know does not work.
The framing is a rescue: somebody’s soul is down there and the only route is through. It is played with one hand, which suits a game where the fighting takes care of itself and the deciding does not.
Game Controls
How to Play:
- Move: One-hand control — steer through the dungeon
- Fighting: Handled for you — position decides what gets hit
- Obelisks: Reach them to take a new power or weapon
- Combine: The powers stack, and the stack is the run
- Survive: The hordes are endless — outlast rather than clear them
