Description

Fox Adventure is an endless runner in the oldest arrangement: the character moves on its own, one button lifts it, and everything else is about when. Meteors come down from above and spikes wait below, and the gaps between them are the whole game.

The difficulty is honest about being a rhythm rather than a reaction. Hazards arrive on a pattern you can feel after a few runs, and the mistake is almost always jumping early out of nerves rather than late out of slowness.

Coins scattered along the route sit in the awkward places, which is the oldest trick in the genre and still works. Taking every one is a different game from surviving, and doing both is a third one.

Costumes bought with the coins change nothing about the running and everything about the reason to keep going. Pixel art, a fox and one button, and it does not pretend to be more than that.
