Description

Each level opens with a fixed purse of gold and an enemy base at the far end of the lane. Soldiers are hired from that purse — warriors to hold the front, archers to strike from behind them, generals for the heavier work — and each type carries its own cost. Spending everything on the opening wave leaves nothing for the reinforcement you will want two minutes later.

Gold flows back in as your troops kill, so a level plays out as a loop rather than a single decision. A cheap warrior sent early can pay for a better unit later, provided he survives long enough to earn it. The temptation is to hold back and save, but an empty field lets the enemy walk forward unopposed.

Unit order is the part that rewards thought. Warriors soak up damage that would kill an archer in a moment, so sending the archer ahead wastes both the gold and the shot. Generals are expensive enough to be worth keeping for the push on the base rather than spending on a routine wave.

Abilities give gold a second use beyond hiring. Supporting the soldiers already on the field can turn a fight you were losing, and it costs less than replacing a wave that died. The level ends when the enemy base falls, and how much gold you had left rarely matters — what matters is that you never ran dry at the wrong moment.
