Description

The career is split into five kinds of event — straight races against seven opponents, time trials, stunt runs, checkpoint routes and a flying parkour — and each awards stars toward a total of one hundred and sixty. They ask for different driving, so a car suited to one is rarely ideal for the next.

Money comes from finishing well and also from the drift and flight points earned along the way, which means a scrappy race driven sideways can pay better than a clean one. Sixteen cars are available and engine power is upgraded separately, so the garage grows in two directions at once.

Outside the career there is a free ride city with sixty gems hidden in it and a reward table that opens every three minutes. That turns exploring into its own income, and the gems unlock vehicles the career would take much longer to afford.

Hot Chase and the Battle Arena are where the cars take damage. In the chase the police wear your health down until they catch you; in the arena eight drivers ram each other until one is left, and detonating somebody returns some of your own health. Two players can split the screen for any of it.
