Description

Cunning Ginger gives you a red cat and a screen full of things dropping towards him. Some of it is food worth points, some of it will hurt him, and the whole game is deciding in the moment which is which and whether the trip across the screen is worth it.

Because everything falls into the same space, greed is the real hazard. A run of food on the far side looks like easy points until you notice what is falling on the route between you and it, and the players who lose early are almost always the ones who moved first and looked second.

The journey takes Ginger around the world, and the settings change what falls. A new location brings both a new menu and a new set of things to avoid, so the pattern-reading you built up somewhere else needs a moment of adjustment rather than carrying over cleanly.

You can play with the mouse or with two keys, and the two feel noticeably different. The mouse is precise and tempts you into long dashes, while the keys are steadier and better suited to holding a position and letting the food come to you.
