Every level is a board of numbered tiles and plain ones. The numbers all have to reach zero, and the rule that makes this a puzzle is that the numbered tiles cannot be tapped at all.

Plain tiles are the only thing you can touch, and tapping one takes a point off each numbered tile beside it. So a tile showing three needs three taps around it, and finding which neighbours can supply them is the actual work.

The difficulty comes from tiles that share a neighbour. A plain tile sitting between a two and a five will serve both, and using it twice is not the same as using two separate tiles once each. Boards get large enough that the order of the taps starts to matter.

More than seventy-five levels are included and none of them run on a timer. It is a game to think through slowly, and the failure state is a board you have taken too far rather than a clock running out.
