Description

You throw shurikens at balloons and the level is done when they are all gone. What makes it a puzzle rather than target practice is that a thrown shuriken does not stop at the first thing it hits — it carries on, and everything behind that balloon is still in its path.

That turns each level into a question of angle. Balloons arranged in a line can be taken with one throw if you find the position that puts them all on it, and the levels are laid out so that such a line usually exists somewhere.

Combos come from those multi-hits and they are what the scoring rewards. Clearing a level with more shurikens than it needed still counts as clearing it, but the game is clearly built around finding the economical solution rather than the brute one.

Aiming is a mouse or a finger and nothing else, so there is no execution barrier between seeing the shot and taking it. The presentation is bright and the balloons pop satisfyingly, which carries the levels where the puzzle is simple.
